THE HOLY SPIRIT
We believe the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity. We believe when a person accepts Christ as their personal Savior, they receive the Holy Spirit.

DIGGING DEEPER
We believe the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity. We believe when a person accepts Christ as their personal Savior, they are then baptized into union with Christ by the Holy Spirit. This is not the same as being filled with the Holy Spirit. We believe a person can be filled with the Holy Spirit with inspiration, correction, and comfort. We believe that the Holy Spirit has multiple roles in the believer’s life. Through the Holy Spirit we are given gifts to further the ministry God has for us. We believe the Holy Spirit can be grieved and His instructional and encouraging voice can be buried or quenched in our lives. We believe that once a person accepts Christ as their Savior and receives the gift of the Holy Spirit, they are then sealed and secured in their eternal state by the Holy Spirit.
